(CNSNews.com) - American pollster John Zogby seemed to mock Evangelical Christians at a briefing specifically for foreign journalists that the U.S. State Department sponsored in Washington, D.C., on election day.
(I)f I see cars in the parking lot with little statues of Jesus and Bibles in the front seat, that means that Evangelicals are going to turn out to vote, Zogby, president of Zogby International, told the foreign reporters.
He’ll know they’re liberals if the statues are in jars of urine.
Right you are. And that is why it begins with a lower-case letter. It’s a movement of the spirit, and anyone can be one if he so chooses.
Same is true for “born-again Christians.” We are told in John Chapter 3 that we all must be born again.
We are so sect-minded that we make everything into a sect. If we are to be “all one in Christ Jesus,” then all Christians must be both of these things—evangelical and born again.
Zogby supports Islamic terror front groups. What is he doing at State Department sponsored briefing?

Mr. Zogby is incorrect. Evangelicals follow the Old Testament law that says “you are to make no graven image”. Tha would include statues of Jesus.
