I don't normally agree with Bob Kuttner, a hard left commentator, but in this case, I'll make an exception. Chris Christie may be done with NJ politics. In 2013, it should be interesting to see if he gets a primary challenge. What GOP donor will finance Brutus? What GOP voter will pull the lever for him? He won by 4% in 2009.

Sorry, but I just cannot see how Christie manages to run as a Democrat. It’s personal, the hatred between Christie and the school teachers, they will NEVER support him, and if they don’t support him, he’s not making it to November 2013...simply cannot happen.
I DESPISE Christie for throwing a life-line to Obama at the very end, but he will still NEVER be trusted by Democrats, as he has SERIOUS problems (like wanting kids to get educated). Not a prayer.

I don’t think Christie could be blamed for a 2.5 million drop in republican votes, but his behavior and attitude didn’t help.

Christie will lose the NJ Governor race next year, and he will NEVER get the GOP nomination for President.

I spoke to the president three times yesterday, Christie boasted, calling Obama outstanding.

At 400 pounds, he’s pretty much a non-starter anyway.

Shit happens and so does Chris Christie. All I know is the Democrats and liberals were ecstatic at his endorsing and praising Obama multiple times. It proved that Obama was a commanding figure who inspired bipartisanship.
Maybe CC go Obama elected. Obama won swing states by narrow margins so who knows
