As ABC News reports, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has confirmed that the House GOP will no longer attempt to repeal Obamacare. When asked about the future of the health care reform law, Boehner said the election changes that and Obamacare is the law of the land.

HEAR! HEAR!
Not so fast! (as Lee Corso says) The various states can still scuttle Obamacare. The Tenth Amendment Center (tends to be very libertarian) states that we can nullify Obamacare with the help of our governors and state legislators. There is still hope!
Since she and her family were destroyed by the media when they realized she had the guts to call them out as no other, we haven't seem many examples of a John Wayne standing up for our side now, have we?
Mitt Romney was a nice guy going up against the bad asses of the left. Had to fail, as did McCain and Dole before. Clinton was a bad ass, wasn't he? Anyway, that's my take on the most recent election.
The closest thing to a bad ass that we had on our side was Clint Eastwood, at age 80, shoving Obama's head in the toilet and flushing it, figuratively of course, with his 'empty chair' routine. I can't help but think many women would still find Clint sexy for having the guts to do what he did. And would have had no problem voting for him too.
By now, you may have figured that I'm convinced we'll have four more years of crap sandwiches served daily until we find someone on our side with the guts to stuff the faces of the left into the cow pie that is the reality they have created. Till then, keep those leach lines clear- somebody in Rio Linda's got a well to fill.
He could simply point out that, while ObamaCare may be the Law of the Land, the Republic simply cannot afford it, and therefore, the House does not see fit to appropriate the funds to implement it (15,000 extra IRS agents pound sand, add to recession jobless claims, LOL). Pass it on a party line vote, and there's no appeal.
Next Monday, I will be seeing my doc of 20 years for the last time.
He’s retiring, and I can’t say that I blame him.
Thankfully, I don’t have any health issues, but we are looking into Costa Rica as an alternative.
They had single payer for a while, but they were smart. They figured out it didn’t work, and have privatized health care now.
So, fork over a few bucks, take your trophy wife to Costa Rica, and have a nice vaca while you’re there.
Pass this along to her doc. ;o)
“About a month before the election, my wife went in to see her cardiologist. She told the doctor that they should maybe hurry up the valve job on her heart as she is 71 and probably wouldn’t make it past the death squad review.”
Push the doctor and get the surgery done before the end of the year.
As you know, my trophy wife and I have been getting “restored” after the great health care plan was shoved down our throats and up the opposite end by Pelosi, Reid and Obozo.
I have had my cataracts cut out and replaced and a knee got its 100,000 mile repair job. My wife had a severe gi op last year and is having a 100,000 mile repair job on a wrist. I will be asking/suggesting to her to get her cataracts cut out and replaced.
