As ABC News reports, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) has confirmed that the House GOP will no longer attempt to repeal Obamacare. When asked about the future of the health care reform law, Boehner said the election changes that and Obamacare is the law of the land.

Spoken like the true sell-out RINO he is and always will be.
The House controls spending in this country and this sell-out just cowers down to the communist like a dog in heat.
Well, with Roberts’ cleverly engineered decree that it’s a tax, perhaps it can be brought back before the court with a challenge on the basis that it’s an illegal tax.

I can’t listen to Mark Levin now (at dentist) but I hope he’s tearing
Boehner 3 or 4 new ones.
There’s a lot of crap they could defund...
Obamacare IS HERE TO STAY. Obviously, voters wanted it, they re-elected Obama. Boehner knows it will be devastating,........the people will have to learn a costly lesson.
yeah, well, if you don’t support the electable alternatives to Obama and his cabal, you’re gonna get more of it, friend.
the fact is boehner and the house passed repeals of obamacare. all were resisted by the senate.
this election cycle was another chance. the voters chose otherwise.
we can resist obamacare with lots of stuff, but it is the law of the land until it is repealed...and we cannot blame the gop. we must blame obama.
every doctor that leaves the practice, blame obama.
every premium increase, blame obama.
every lost job, blame obama.
stop blaming the damn gop for not being able to stop what is the law...blame the assclown who signed the bill.
No, but they would vote to repeal and Obama would veto it. If the GOP has the votes to override, then so be it. WE WIN. Otherwise, they have a great issue to play against Hillary in 2016. Game, set, match. At least that’s the way they seem to be playing it.
“A couple of points:
1.) I am of the opinion that SOME of the legal efforts not yet decided will help us a great deal.
a.) Conscience Clause, contraceptive/abortion mandates, when the intent of Congress was that such would not happen by executive order remember?
b.) The State Exchanges are an integral part of Obamcare, and many States will refuse to implement these exchanges on their own. Their really isn’t a funding method to fund much of Obamacare without these State Exchanges is there? The Default program, the Fed program, has no funding vehicle. The House is not likely to provide such funding.
2.) GIVEN THE ABOVE, there is SLIM chance that the House Republicans have something up their sleeves. We can FOLLOW THE LAW, OBAMACARE IS THE LAW, and we can still stop much of what the libs want, BECAUSE THAT IS THE LAW!”
I do think this is going to blow up big now, in several of the states, and there will be a lot of media coverage. As we speak, the IRS is preparing forms that you will have to complete and submit with your income tax return. I think republicans need to start immediately to do whatever it takes to point out each and every adverse event that occurs in their district, such as doctors closing their practices, doctors refusing to accept Medicaid/Medicare patients, businesses closing, businesses eliminating or reducing full time employees, companies eliminating health benefits, etc. They need to go on local media every chance they get and shout these outcomes from the rooftops for the next three years, because this is going to require a groundswell of support from the grass roots in order to get rid of it.
No surprise there. We haven’t had a congress in four years, why start now?
I think this is more like passive aggressive Republican non voters said “Let it be.” Barack squoke by, overall turnout was less than in 2008 and so was Barack’s margin.
Boener is a symptom. Citizens now have no control over anything really. Rates of taxation, innumerable laws on the books, regulations covering everything, state and local codes etc, or where any of the money skimmed from the private sector is spent. Every citizen is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the health insurance leviathan. They sold us like cattle.
The GOP and Conservatives are becoming a smaller and smaller minority. Immigration, education, and social engineering have evinced an electorate that is progressive. Why fight it, you can’t win. Today I decided to give in to Obama...just like Boehner. Drive the train, Mr. President. Open the borders. When the jihadis blow up the Mall of America the people will start worrying about their security
I was wrong. Boner isn’t as dumb as he appears to be. He’s moreso.
You want to keep trying to repeal Obamacare, first of all, because it’s teh right thing to do. Second, you want to repeal it for 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020. But Speaker RINO doesn’t seem to have enough brain cells to understand that.
We need to contact our good Republican members asking them to put in bills to repeal Obamacare, to defund it, to reduce the number of IRS agents (to avoid sequestration, of course) so they can’t enforce it, and to define the taxing power (narrowly so Obamacare falls outside it.) We need to keep making an issue of it.
Three states voted to nullify it in their states Tuesday, whcih means it’s as unpopular as ever. So keep using it as an issue.
But then, the GOP might win and the RINOs will not allow that.
Boner needs to be challenged. Apparently, like most Republican leader, his only principle is to have no principles and his only strategy is preemptive surrender.
Just before the 2014 elections, the House should once more present the Senate with a repeal and say “ok, are you SURE you don’t want this?”
vaudine

HealthCare is a major thing to be threatening to pull from the American People. MAJOR! Obama did it, but slowly and while the private insurance companies still existed. He also lied. He lied about every aspect of ObamaCare. He claimed there will always be a choice between ObamaCare and private insurance. That's not going to be true in the end. There will be NO alternative. It will either be ObamaCare no NO healthcare. And that's OUR problem if we do not rid this nation of ObamaCare NOW.
We lost the Senate. Only thing left now is the courts - but it needs to be done now.
My assumption: ObamaCare is not only the law of the land (like abortion) but it's here to stay. That's sad!
B. You come up with ways to undermine it, defund it, repeal pieces of it. Maybe even think about how to package a repeal as part of a budget deal.
C. You don't do B is you are afraid of the Washington Post and you are a big government liberal who likes having huge federal spending that you can help parcel out. That is who Boehner is.
D. So, given that Boehner is a liberal who does not have big problems with the end of freedom in America and the imposition of Obamacare, what he said is correct.
