AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

Texas? My niece and nephew live in Austin. Moved there basically from Mobile. They love it.
sloop, they did show up to vote in spite of the snubbing. The fault with the GOP’s moderate strategy is that they declined to energize and capitalize on the genuine grassroots power of the tea party movement. It was a stupid thing to do.
Energizing the base is how you get the less involved people to the polls. Those who go about their daily lives mostly unaware of the political world around them. Those are the ones that Romney failed to reach. It’s his fault.
Yeah, I was a little confused, too.
Hey Haley! We have plenty of unskilled labor you idiot! Illegals undercut their wages you punk!
Conservatives need to reach out and provide support to other conservatives wherever you can...
As I have been saying, I am becoming more and more fearful for this country.
I think it’s pure 0bamacare driving the market down. Maybe I should short the healthcare stocks.
the problem we have is our adolescent pouters - pushing ‘social issues’ makes half of us pout and not vote - NOT pushing ‘social issues’ makes the other half not vote
not nominating palin makes others pout - or noot - or...or...or...
Could Rush be right, massive voter fraud was involved?
I use FF also. Right click in empty space on page you want to copy and select “View Page Source.” A new window opens up. Copy and paste the desired text, which will already be in html.
This is often easier said than done, depending on the website markup. Some are much more complicated and harder to read than others.
Also, keep in mind copyright permissions.
Still got your lips locked on the buttocks of the GOP-E it appears.
“Did the Republican base really not show up or did they show up and had their votes discarded?”
Both....I think many conservatives are weary of having to hold their noses and voting for a moderate republican. Ann Counter seems to believe that Mitt is a conservative guy, and perhaps on some issues he is...but as an over all candidate he certainly isn’t..and his lack of a serious conservative foundation was his undoing, just as it was for McCain. You take this general lack of interest by conservatives, and add to it the obvious shennagigans by the Democrats with respect to voter fraud and you get the result we saw Tuesday night. Like it or not, Barry did an outstanding job of using the power of the presidency to ensure his re-election. Chrisie didn’t do Romney any favors, but I simply do not agree that a hurricane and the resulting PR boon for Barry was the reason why Romney lost...it was a factor to be sure....but I believe the situation was decided long before that....too many in the GOP did not like Romney...because he is a Mormon, because he is not a solid conservative, because of Romneycare, there are alot of reasons...but the net result is many just didn’t support his presidency. So now the GOP talking heads are warbling on about more inclusiveness as if the GOP isn’t already inclusive, which it very much is. No, the problem has been, remains, and will be the fact that the elite of the GOP disdains the Tea Party specifically, and conservatism in general. Here we have another moderate nominee knocked off despite his moderate campaign....and they continue to spout off about how we just need to try to be even more moderate (meaning more progressive). Rush was right yesterday....Conservatism, when properly articulated with sincere passion, always wins....and a sincerely passionate conservative campaign has not been tried in ages...certainly not in the last two presidential campaigns. I suggest we push for a change NOW in the GOP...get rid of Boehner and McConnell as leaders in the House and Senate....replace them with Paul Ryan and Rand Paul...or whomever we can find that will actively and passionately articulate serious conservative policies in opposition to Obama’s criminal agenda. 2014 MUST be a major push to obliterate any democrat/progressive opposition in the House, and to do the same in the Senate to the degree that is possible. If, after the 2014 midterms, we conservatives do not see a major shift by the GOP towards a serious respect for the conservative base of the party, then the conservative base needs..no... MUST find a new home...because the GOP has moved too far to the Left to be our home any longer. Our country can no longer afford to allow progressiveism to run amok in DC unopposed....
i’m tryin to get away for 10 days......rent a sailboat and head to the islands I hope
Yep.
bottom line - YOU are the problem with the right
I recommend my Plan "T" - to summarize, the lame duck Congress tells Obama to go ahead and implement his glossy brochure plan. Have at it. Make a 90% bracket if you wish. The Republicans will vote "present." It is going to be his economy: lock, stock, and barrel. Then the next Congress (House, that is - no hope from the Senate) will evaluate and step in for the Oct 2013 fiscal year. Pick up the pieces and rebuild.
IOW, let the electorate reap what it has sown. Time to shrug. [blank] 'em.
Why all the MSM calls for bi-partisanship now? Because without the pubbies on board, they won't have them to blame when it all crashes down. And it will crash down. Ride it out. The smartest move is not to play.
Short them, Clint. Short them! :-)
Rush is so right!! He is talking about lay offs now.
Rush is so sane in a insane world!
After Katrina, Irene, Lee and now Sandy, I’ll still continue to stay on much higher ground. If God had meant me to live on the water, he’d have given me webbed feet or gills. Heh.
That sounds heavenly. That’s still not a big enough distraction for me.
