I hope you are wrong, but I fear you are right.

It will be interesting to see the reaction to all the job layoffs over the next few weeks. Unemployment will most definately top 8%...yes, I know it is closer to 15% in reality:)

My Wife works for Beckman Coulter a huge Medical device manufacturer. No idea what the new tax liability will be, certainly 10’s of million per year. Won't be surprised if her well paying job of 31 years goes poof when they decide it's stupid to keep the Brea facility going in California.
