For; it is the way that those who have sown this will eat it later. By however means they denied a scapegoat by the Romney/Ryan ticket and it is a mess in their pocket.
Why am I insisting on pointing out the deficit of integrity? Not because I particularly disagree that conservatives need to appeal to voters (duh!) or even because if we were to accept, as the GOP has done for 50 years at least, that they need to “win by 3%” or the Rats can steal it. The thing about this that startles me is that this means we aren’t on The Road to Serfdom anymore. We have arrived.
I had a patient years ago who grew up and lived in Italy in the30’s and 40’s. I was reading Herdotus at the time and remarked that maybe the old Persian generals were right.
