What passes for the American public will soon be largely secular and socialist. This spiral downward is likely to accelerate and will end in complete societal/economic collapse.

The late Spiro Agnew left liberal MD for CA, before it was so liberal, years ago. Maybe MD and CA can have intramural competition on who is the most liberal. But Agnew is not around to break the deadlock. MD people as a whole always disappoint, but I assume there are individual exceptions.
