If someone was trying to rape you and you shot them dead, are you 'supporting violence'?

If someone cannot differentiate between violence and self-preservation, why would we want them?

Civil war and secession are not synonymous.

Calling for a civil war is insane. Nor does any state need to issue a declaration of independence in open defiance.

Keep in mind that we got here gradually. We can separate gradually by promoting the idea until it sinks in and people accept that it is a win-win for both sides.

It could also make saner heads in the democratic party realize they need to seriously reign in their more insane elements, if any sane people still exist in that party.
