We use to fish all the private ponds that had rainbow trout stocked in them. we’d sneak in and if caught just open the bail on our fishing reels and run. Had a bit of rock salt shot from a 12 gauge hit me in the back once.
Some were on or near Double bluff. Raden family and the Wall farm properties.
I know now we were nothing but thieves.
My Father-in-law’s place had two ponds on it. It was on the west side of Double Bluff,near a hump in the road, just a short distance from the maim highway (525?).
The ponds were at the west end of the property, down lower than the house.
