There were many reasons we lost but this is one of them. Republicans are the "Daddy" party. We impose unwanted discipline that sometimes hurts. Dims are the "Mommy" party. They wipe away tears, give hugs and are generous with candy. A spoiled, child-like culture that's been conditioned to self-indulgence will always vote for hugs and candy.
You are right, this is a trend, we have more voters that expect freebies. It is that simple. they are going to be surprised.
Quite true. The anti-Romney ads were run by planned parenthood (with our tax money) here in Virginia about every 10 minutes on the country music station. We had no chance once the stupid women (note there are obviously smart and stupid women just like men) got motivated to get out on Tuesday. Also several anti-Romney fliers a day in my mailbox.
