I think so too. Lay out clear disagreement and reasons, then announce there is no “deal” or inference to be made that the Rs think this is the way to go. However, they will will not obstruct so that America can clearly know that, whatever the outcome, good or bad, we know who is to credit or blame.Say the President’s people seem sure they know what the fix is and we will let them show us. I agree that the conclusions of the headline are wrong here. If I was to venture a guess, Boehner is going to propose the Romney plan for lowering taxes and closing loopholes. Now, if he has a pair, he’ll make sure that such a change takes place concurrently with deep cuts.
