Headline is either blatantly misleading or just wrong.

Boehner didn't mention "new taxes". He mentioned "revenue".

He most likely is referring to closing loopholes for revenue which is what Romney was also proposing and what conservatives have wanted for years (to simplify the tax code).

Correct, most of the morons on this site don’t bother to read the article only read headlines.. This is same thing Romney proposed.

“Closing loopholes” is raising taxes

They always say they will subsitute lower rates for lost deductions, however the entire point of their maneuver is to raise taxes to raise revenue
