All I see here are unsubstantiated claims heaped upon bold assertions. Upon what factual basis are these claims by Strauss & Howe made? In other words: How do they come by their special knowledge? Do they possess a crystal ball? An unerring ability to interpret sacred scriptures - and what sacred scriptures? The Book of Mormon, the Bhagavad-Gita, or what?
It would be nice if these things would be spelled out before we, the readers, have to wade through this mountain of pronouncements.

No It would be proper if you took the time and made your own personal effort to read the book before making the above lame statement!
Their and book and underlying study have been written about here on Free Republic since I started lurking in 1998.

How do they come by their special knowledge? You could read the book, The Fourth Turning, and all those questions would be answered.
It's a good study of the history of the past 500 years, and the generational shifts that have shaped that history.
