Chris Matthews on Obama's Win: 'I’m So Glad We Had That Storm Last Week'
NewsBusters ^

Posted on 11/07/2012 7:22:18 AM PST by chessplayer

"I'm so glad we had that storm last week."

So amazingly said MSNBC's Chris Matthews about Hurricane Sandy Tuesday night following the announcement that Barack Obama had won re-election (video follows with transcript and commentary):

This is the Machiavellian mind of a liberal media member today.

Sandy will go down as one of the worst storms to ever hit America.

Millions are still without power and are battling freezing temperatures.

The lives of tens of thousands of our citizens might never be the same.

But to Chris Matthews, that's okay because the object of his affection was re-elected.

And he has not one but two nationally televised programs from which to spout this staggeringly biased nonsense.

This is America 2012.

The storm definitely shifted the momentum back to Obama.

Yes Chris, you are consistent in revealing who you really are: a low-life, uncaring, arrogant and poor excuse for a member of the human family. This piece of garbage takes delight in the misery of those who lost life, property and are suffering in the cold all so you can claim your socialist victory.

The storm definitely shifted the momentum back to Obama.

Then, if people are swayed by a photo op rather than record unemployment, deficits, etc.....America NEVER had a chance to begin with.

Lets see people pay their mortgage & fill their cars with gas on a photo op.

And, Chris Matthews....they're still pulling bodies from the wreckage...GO FY YOU MISERABLE POS!

From the numbers I’m seeing, Obama would have won with no storm.

Tell me Mr. Tingles, will you and your master now rush to save all those hungry and displaced by your heavenly storm? I know I will not bother to help dig them out. You wanted the job. It is now yours please head North and save your drowning subjects. Providence will not help you there.

I don’t think the storm won it for the turd. This was conservatives refusing to vote for a squishy centrist. At least in part. It was wrong of them to do so but it was their right to stay home. Good job!

He is NOT a member of the human family. He is sub-human. He is sub-animal.

The storm had nothing to do with Obama’s win. He won because his campaign focused on the emotional fears of minorities and women in this country, and the youth who are indoctrinated by liberal academia into believing that those fears are legitimate. Fear of deportation (immigration), loss of government benefits (entitlements), loss of rights (abortion, contraception).

The dems are all about emotion, and it works.

“He is NOT a member of the human family. He is sub-human. He is sub-animal.”

I stand corrected....your description is much more accurate.

You’ve got to break a few eggs if you want to make mayonnaise.

I went here and told NBC what I thought of his disgusting comment:

Chris Matthews: "Good work for them, good work for him, a good day for America. I’m so glad we had that storm last week because I think the storm was one of those things. No, politically I should say, not in terms of hurting people. The storm brought in possibilities for good politics."

People are dead, freezing, in the dark, displaced, financially ruined and crying for help because of Sandy.

Matthews should to be fired for that statement.

Thanks,

"I'm so glad we had that storm last week."

If this were a Republican, this would be hate speech.

He continued, "No, politically, I should say. Not in terms of hurting people." For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

“You’ve got to break a few eggs if you want to make mayonnaise.”
