I agree with you - Romney was a good candidate. The problem is that he didn’t simply run against Obama - he ran against the media. If I learned anything from this election it was to send a check to Free Republic, support Rush Limbaugh, etc. We can’t win elections without first managing to overcome the corrupt media machine.

It's a given that Republicans always run against the media. I think Romney's problem was his lack of a ground game. He relied too much on ad blitzes. Rove's genius was his unprecedented ground game - his lavish GOTV efforts to get people to the polls helped avert what might have been Gore or Kerry victories. With the amount of money Romney had, he should have been able to replicate Rove's ground game. Unfortunately, he went almost 100% with ad blitzes, relying on volunteers for his GOTV effort instead of hiring full-timers.

Until we get our voice back with the media, we are always going to come up wanting - no amount of ad blitzes can overcome the MSM. Our only chance is to let our money talk. Don’t buy papers that promote Obama (USA Today being a major player), genuinely boycott advertisers of shows that star people like Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin. We have to let our money talk because right now no one is listening. . . .,
