(WMC-TV) – Reports are coming in that riots are brewing on the Ole Miss campus in Oxford, Mississippi.
Phone calls are coming into our newsroom and photos are being posted to Twitter of the situation on campus.
The Ole Miss campus television station is reporting the alleged "riots" are instead protests.
Photos show huge group of people on the campus, some even lighting Obama-Biden signs on fire in response to the presidential election results.
Ole Miss journalism student Margaret Ann Morgan posted to Twitter, "Onlookers say people- black, white, etc- throwing rocks at cars."
She continued, "Students of all races yelling on rebel drive. Lots of racial slurs."
Morgan also mentioned she is ashamed at what she saw and heard on her campus following the election.
Nicholas Carr claims no rocks were thrown and the majority of the people at the protests were there to see what was going on.
"I was there the whole time. No rocks were thrown. There was 1 sign lit on fire. For about 45 seconds," Carr said. "Mostly, it was 100s of college kids who heard the word riot and ran to take pictures and see what it was about. Again, no rocks or missiles thrown."

A friend over in Lucedale, Miss has relatives who go to Ole Miss and she said there was tons of “in your face” moments happening on campus between whites and blacks all day and the word was circulating fast that the election had been stolen causing tensions to rise up tonight.
The county isn’t in a mood for a group hug. I’m especially disturbed at how divided we are along ethnic lines: Several separate countries occupying the same physical space.
Lots of bad outcomes all around possible in the coming years.
Could my fearful prediction be coming true, we are heading down the road to a second civil war?

No...someone claimed it was 1 person who did that...it’s going on all over campus.
Though I still do not understand why God took both my longtime boyfriend and now my only brother home, but I sense it is because this nation, the United States of America is in HUGH and I MEAN HUGH BIGTIME TROUBLE and NEEDS more intercessors at the throne of Amighty God.
This country has refused to get control of it’s borders and as a result we now have masses of people in this nation who will forever vote Democrat(Communist).
