If by elite you mean people who rose to their level of incompetence, cashed in retiring to PR and left active campaign work,, "elite," then yes.

That's a pretty low bar for elite, we call them "has beens." Personally, I would require that GOP elite status indicate some kind of serious power in the GOP.

Romney told Schmidt in 2009 that he would always have a place at his table.

I'm pretty certain everyone, liberals included tell him nice things. He's got a place at my table too. Provided he doesn't eat too much or bring guests.

Amazing yet laughable comment. I'll change it to never catching up. And repeating my words won't make it happen. Keep on failing. You are too used to believing those in power to guide you. It appears you do not have a 'think for yourself brain cell' left.
