Romney votes will be a little more than McCain when it’s all done.
Obama’s will be down a few million.
Problem is the difference is not enough to change the result of an Obama victory.
We simply do not have the votes. A few million people were turned off Obama and didn’t bother doing the hope/change thing this time. But we are capped at 60 million. And if we get a true conservative in there it will add votes but lose just as many of the “moderate” Republican voters.
We have a Catch 22 with warring camps within our party. They have a motley crew of disparate grievance groups who don’t get offended when the other parts of their coalition are pandered to.
In sum - we’re screwed and this was our last best hope and it will never shift back
How could someone NOT go vote against Obama? Regardless of Mitt not being conservative enough. Four more years of this might end the Republic. 21 trillion in debt, amnesty, executive orders, 2 libs on Supreme Court? Game over.
Good point though re turnout being lower. People are giving up. Like the fake 8% unemployment when it’s really 15%, people are checking out of the democracy.
We all got screwed along time ago, trust me.
Welcome to the new Amerika Comrade
The solution is to stop putting conservatives in the back of the bus and letting them drive the bus.
Not the least bit surprised to see Romney’s turnout down.
