Did you know that in 2004, 56% of protestant Hispanics voted for Bush? In 2008, 48% voted for McCain/Palin?

Let's see how that demographic plays out this year. Plus, what is the Protestant vs Catholic split in Hispanics? My gut tells me there are more Catholics. More importantly, what is the Christian (P&C) vs. secular mix?

If they went Dem in the face of the attacks on religion we have seen this election cycle along, they are no longer voting their faith - Protestant or Catholic. You will have to gain them with something else, like amnesty and entitlements.

If the GOP beats democrats by becoming more liberal, has the country really won anything?

You just learned that a sizable portion of the Hispanic vote is about 50/50 republican, and that’s it?

I think that it is worth looking into.
