Moral decline and societal decadence is everyone’s business.

And just who, pray tell, is the arbiter of what constitutes "moral decline" or "societal decadence"? Let's build a time machine and bring back those people who thought women showing their ankles in public was a sign of moral turpitude. Or better yet, let's get some mullahs from the Taliban to show us the way to moral and societal perfection.

You are committing the logical fallacy of anachronistic thinking.

Who ever said that cultural values don’t change?

Yes, showing your ankles used to be socially unacceptable.

But this standard was challenged and now we have women “lactivists” and others, showing their breasts in public.

We have people engaging in sex in public spaces just because they think they can.

If you don’t think that there has been a huge moral decline since the says of the hidden ankle and now, then you and I are irreconcilably opposed to one another. Because I believe our cultural morality has gone down the crapper.

In order to get it back, we need to lift the bar a bit. Even if that means being considered a prude or being snickered at by others.

You are falling for the trap of the moral relativists, which is to argue, no one should/can determine what is “right,” therefore, there is no such thing as “right,” therefore, anything is “right.”

That is how we got where we are today.

If you want to continue down that path, go right ahead.

But I don’t. So when decadence and immorality is being praised, I will object to it.
