We won’t be 1st world for long. I should have asked excluding USA. Besides NZ, I thought of Iceland as a different place. Even Israel if I had some enough Jewish blood. I know 1/16th doesn’t cut it though !
Israel is a secular Western democracy. It has an ordinary naturalization process like other countries. You don’t have to be Jewish.
Those it deems Jewish get automatic citizenship and certain benefits regular immigrants don’t.
Just be aware that Israel is also a socialist country.
