O’Reilly has no expertise in anything. Like all famous blowhards he spends all his time talking. He probably hasn’t set aside a ten minute stretch to think and reevaluate in a decade, and goes off habit or instinct. If it’s instinct he yells. Since he’s a superficial thinker to begin with he’s glacially boring and utterly predictable.
Hannity is the same, obviously, only more the party hack to O’Reilly’s defender of das volk. Rush probably hasn’t done much thinking in 20 years, the “show prep” probably means about as much as what I get from scanning FR, Drudge, or something. But at least he’s funny.

Rush is an astute analyst, and brilliant in understanding conservative principle. Sean is not too smart, but he is a bulldog and his heart is in the right place.
Bill O’Reilly is a totally average person. That is why he guesses things so accurately - he knows how people think. But he reminds me of the guy who wants so hard to be thought of as intelligent, and works hard at it, but...just really doesn’t get it. He really doesn’t understand much at all. He’s just not that smart.
