Looks like its time for the big suck.
I have a buddy who is planning on flying back to Texas tomorrow for job prospects with Phillips Petroleum. They want him and were waiting for the election results to determine if he gets one of the 5 openings they were planning on.
Guy has been here (Taiwan) for 3 1/2 yrs and now this. He's already closed things down, sold his vehicle, turned his apt. keys in and got his deposit refund.
I just now got off the phone with him and its pretty sad.
I have been spending about 2 hrs a week looking at real estate in the States with an eye towards moving back.
Not now - not with this POS elected back to power.
I'm going to have a real hard time not punching the shit out of smart mouth Canadians and Brits after this.

It’s not perfectly clear to me that Democrat dominance doesn’t mean a bubble in the petroleum biz. Fear has driven up gas prices, and with them have gone refinery profits. Did they actually say they wanted Romney to win before they would hire him? Or is that just a guess?
