We were born into an amazing country. It was hard to imagine ever losing it.
But chaos is a universal norm. Order is rare.
We had a republic once. We were unable to keep it.
Well said. And like any gift from God, if it’s not cherished and appreciated (or deserved), it can be rescinded.
We will now sit back and, like helpless observers of our own doom, watch as our nation goes further down the path to total destruction and collapse ‘a la Barack Hussein Obama’ and his leftist backers. And yes, it IS apparently what God wants.

I think one of the founding fathers actually said that right after the nation was founded. Someone asked him what did we get, and he said we have a Republic, if we can just keep it.
