>>Fresno Police have confirmed to KMPH News that a number of people are dead and others are injured following a workplace shooting in Central Fresno.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. at Valley Protein, which is located on Hedges near Blackstone.
Police say the suspect walked into the business looking specifically for someone, opened fire and then took their own life.
KMPH News reporter Liz Gonzalez says as many as 60 workers may have been inside at the time of the shooting.
Dozens of officers are on the scene.
Streets in the area are closed.

This of course means that the shooter probably shouted 'Allahu Ahkbar' prior to firing, if we take the hint from the Ft. Hood shooting.

Per news conference the shooter is a black male parolee/employee with a long rap sheet. He is still alive. All of the victims were hispanic co-workers.
I’m sorry for the victims but “rampage at a chicken plant” is an hillarious headline.

From the numbers it appears that 1 man was killed by the suspect and 3 others were shot & injured then taken to the hospital.
The shooter attempted suicide by shooting himself, but has been taken to the hospital in critical condition. Although in the same report it stated he fatally shot himself.
There are no reports of multiple fatalities.
Did the chickens suffer multiple contusions?
