Bright sunny but crisp day here in Northern Indiana. Hard to find a parking place, had to wait a little, but all was calm and orderly.
This is notably a Republican stronghold.
Landslide for Romney/Ryan.
Hancock County — voted 7:15 am—no wait. 77th voter
GO ROMNEY/MOURDOCK!!

GO ROMNEY/MOURDOCK!!
Southwestern Indiana @ 6am 30 voters in a little townhall with 2 machines. Dave Crooks will not carry his home county.
FIRST voter in Lawrence precinct 5, AGAIN (four presidential elections in a row).
No problems, paper ballot fed into a scanner.
People near Noblesville came in to find their touch-screen units not working. They were turned back to try to vote again later today.
Longest line we’ve ever encountered in this very heavy Republican county. We vote pretty much the same of day each election day. Way longer line than 2008. No doubt in my mind who they were there to vote for. Hoping this kind of enthusiasm carries over to Ohio.
I did notice that even the Democrat HQ here in the county didn’t have a Obama/Biden sign, and I was told there are only 3 known Obama signs in the entire county.
EVERYBODY here has a FRIENDS OF COAL sign, not looking good for the socialist today.
Huge turnout in my District of Seminole County Florida! Bigger than anything I’ve seen in the past! Heavily conservative county too.
Frankton (Madison county) - just got back. Poll worker told me it was the biggest morning turnout she’s ever seen. I had to wait about 15 minutes.
I let a little old lady with a cane go ahead of me in line. Nice woman. Reminded me of my grandma. No doubt she was there to vote the Marxist Kenyan out of office, lol.
Voted in downtown Indy just before 7:00 this morning. Area, as you may know is heavy D’rat. I was the 64th voter and my wife the 65th. Only 5 other people appeared during the 5-10 minutes we were there.
Appears to be a very light turnout, especially considering a number of voting sites have been reduced this year. Should be a problem for the D’rats.
One other polling place I passed on the way home—in one of the Barton Towers (subsidized housing), looked practically deserted.
Noblesville voting line here on tenth street is longer than average at 9:46. Mixed crowd. Friendly folks.
I live in Westfield (Hamilton County). I arrived at my polling place at 06:20...parking lot full and cars lined down the street on both sides. I’ve never seen anything like this! I waited 1 hour to vote.
Outside Terre Haute - my first time voting as a Hoosier (just escaped out of Illinois). People in line at 8am this morning had never seen such a large turnout. I probably waited 20 minutes to vote. Go Romney/Mourdock!
I voted Saturday. WE opted to go DURING the football game because lines were so long PRIOR to it. We still waited over an hour to vote.
General observations. The ones waiting in line tended to be CONSERVATIVE. 150 + waiting, not one minority, even though this is as very diverse community. I did watch 20-30 minorities walk up, look at the line, and turn around and leave. I saw the same thing amongst the college age kids. They didn’t want to wait.
If we are typical, Romney will lead in early Indiana voting.
I arrived at the station about 6:50AM with about 30 voters ahead of me and there were about 30 in line when I left. Very rural red area....going for RR! Good turn out for my township.
Hamilton County - 7:30am - waited 30 minutes in line. Thank God I live in a representative republic.
Lafayette, Indiana here! Voted at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds at about 8:30 AM. Cars parked out to Teal Road (SR 25). Line was long, but moved quickly. I was back to work at 9:00. Anyone voting here, I would suggest the Fairgrounds as I believe it is the largest vote center in the county and there were always machines available while I was waiting.
May the heros of Benghazi be proud of how we vote today.
They gave their lives for us, now we need to give our votes for them.
Vote as if the lives of our Military Men and Women depended on it.
If Romney wins Vigo County, he should be well on the way to the White House. Its voted with the national winner all but two times since 1892.

“The county is one of the best bellwether regions for voting U.S. presidential elections; it has voted for the winning candidate in every election since 1956 and in all but two elections since 1892. It continued the trend in 2008, voting for Illinois Senator Barack Obama by a 16-point margin.
Holmes is part of Indiana’s 8th congressional district, which is held by Republican Larry Bucshon.”
The town's younger adult population is probably mostly at work, but there are not a whole lot of them. Unfortunately there is a good deal of riffraff residing in the town now---I suspect they will not even vote.
Three voters in our household, of course all of us voted straight-Republican.
You have a choice here between paper and electronic voting. Paper ballots are placed in a scanner upon completion. I don't know if that scanner also does the actual reading and tabulating.
Romney--Pence--Mourdoch--Young !!
