Palin Endorses Romney... Sort Of..
ABC News ^ | 11/5/12

Posted on 11/06/2012 5:30:14 AM PST by Kinder Gentler Machinegun Hand

With less than 24 hours to go until Election Day, former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin endorsed Mitt Romney.

After remaining silent for months, Palin made her case for the GOP ticket in a Facebook posting, arguing that Romney "deserves a chance to lead."

......

In contrast, her former running mate, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., has been a tireless advocate for Romney.

Palin's support has been more tepid. While shying away from officially using the word "endorse," Palin has made it known that she stands with her party. According to recent filings with the Federal Election Commission, Palin's political action committee donated $5,000 to the Romney campaign on Oct. 31.

...."She knows Moderate Mitt will end up betraying Conservatives if he gets in and if she goes around yelling "VOTE 4 ROMNEY" for 7 months"........

BINGO!

Does anybody believe Mitt will not revert to his NE liberal ways once in office? I wholeheartedly supported Dubya, but when the "kinder gentler" part came to the surface, what could we say? He was certainly better than the alternative, but we ended up with no fence, drug programs, and a ton of debt.

What will she say when Mittens appoints another liberal SCOTUS or some other nonsense from Massachusetts? Mitt was not and still is not my first choice, why act as though he hung the moon? Sarah has very good political instincts and knows we are about to pay a price for removing Obama. If Mitt is tied right now, how would we get a conservative elected?

I value her thoughts and opinions anyday over some snide, sneering, sniveling, faceless, anonymous keyboard nobody.

Palin endorsed Shara Steelman in the Missouri Senate primary. Todd Akin won that primary.

Akin made a gaffle shortly after the primary. Palin condemned him and has never retracted her statement.

Akin is very conservative and is running against Claire McCaskel an ultra liberal who voted 95% of the time with 0bama including 0bamacare.

Perhaps Palin thought that if Akin would withdraw her candidate would replace him. She may have been ignorant of Missouri's Sore Losers Law.

Just another reason to never donate to a PAC.

Hey, as long as she doesn’t say “Bless his heart”, Romney should count himself lucky and take what he can get.

Palin endorsed Juan McStain but can’t bring herself to endorse Mitt Romney.

This last minute endorsement makes me wonder why she even did it all?

Keep in mind that the first thing Newt did after dropping out was to call Romney and offer “to help in any way he could.” He and Santorum then went out and worked for Romney.

And Sarah? She offers a half hearted endorsement with less than 24 hours to go before the election is decided.

After 6 months she sorta made up her mind. Sarah playing the High School tease is getting really old.

Maybe she didn't like all the ex-Romney campaign guys that McCain hired who undermined both her and McCain to set up 2012.

Sarah has been meeting with evangelical groups on Romney’s behalf. To me, this is probably a difficult task because some of our evangelical brothers and sisters believe Mormons are a sect, therefore, not Christians.

Some of these brothers and sisters refuse to be swayed by Billy Graham. My guess is that can a tough job.

She’s never been keen on Romney — and why should she, with Romney operatives sabotaging her even before the end of the 2008 elections?

She got her revenge.

Remember her Bus Tour to Nowhere? On the day in New Hampshire where Romney officially announces his candidacy for the presidency, Sarah showed up only miles away in the Palin bus to steal his thunder.

Not a huge fan of Romney, but just sayin....

No truth available in this article!

Palin has shown up on Romney’s side in every appearance since the beginning of the convention.

Those that turn to ABC deserve to be deceived.

When has Palin ever campaigned with Romney? She never really endorsed the guy until now.......sort of.

We have pictures of her with Sarah Steelman. Are there any with Romney?

Every appearance Palin has made since the convention has made it clear that only a fool would be voting against Romney.

How much more could she be expected to do?

I do.

Mitt has clearly shown he knows the difference between state issues and federal issue.

The story came out that he tried to talk a woman out of having an abortion. That has meaning.

I believe he's going to dedicate himself to building a strong economy. If he succeeds we'll be looking at holding the White House till 2020. And I think we'll be happy we have Mitt.

First of all...my mistake.... I thought you said she showed up “at” Romney’s side.... campaigning with him. (versus “on” Romney’s side)

But yes, she has been an ABO supporter.

Some people on this thread are PDSers.

This Tuesday our country’s future is in our hands.

She made her endorsement clear and has all along:
PALIN:" No no no no! Please go vote! Let me ask you — man, do me a favor. If this go-around you don’t know who you dislike more or like more, Romney or Obama — this go-around, give Romney a shot.

We don’t want to repeat the failed policies of President Obama. That’s insanity, to repeat the same failures over and over again and expect a different result."

Right on!!!

"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”

-- John Quincy Adams

Also, think about this little Gem from 1968 and see how little it has changed.

Go Sarah!
