Obama is using a traditional strategy—you don’t campaign on election day.

Romney is using a football strategy—you play till the whistle stops blowing.

You can learn a lot about the two men just by comparing those two strategies.

I would say a Biblical (and Conservative) strategy as well:

From 2 Timothy:

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

************************************

Hope to hear in Romney’s acceptance speech tonight:

“You know, people were wondering why I was still out there campaigning today, rather than taking a break and going golfing or something. [laughter, applause]. Well - this election is important not only to me, but to all of us. And like I have told you before, I will not rest until we have won the election - and I meant it.

But the election was not my priority - my priority is getting America back on track. And just like the election - I will not rest until that has been accomplished.”
