Same as above. Just watch. I'd double down on Intrade if you could.

It's all about 'goodbye' and all talk of the 'future' is 'it's in your hands now.' No vote seeking, not saying 'we're doing to keep going' ... just 'remember how good it was, keep the hopeychangey'

Well, here are my emails to friends and family (and liberals :-)) as I watch this:

Now Obama is speaking.

http://www.c-span.org/Campaign2012/Events/President-Obama-Ends-Campaign-in-Iowa/10737435612-4/

The rhetoric means “it’s in your hands now “ without coming out and saying it … you can hear the crowd sensing this. This is a thank you, good bye (heading to our 35 Million dollar Hawaiian mansion, which by the way, they’ve been decorating in prep for them to move in for 3 months) … they’ve known this was over for a long long time.

This is the end of the biggest lie America ever bought, the greatest … not just lie, but hypnosis. Obama will go quickly. He never liked this anyway. He likes his own supporters less than he likes his opponents. Disdain.

Speech continues … every verb is definitive past tense. Never heard so many verbs followed by the letters ‘ed’.

Hey, now that I’m going to a 35 Million Dollar mansion in Hawaii, I want to say that every deserves a fighting chance. (???)

So … sad (pejorative - not empathy.)

Both are filled with ‘good bye’. Michele never wanted this.

Glenn - there is a history which won’t be talked about for a while - about how and why they were married. It’s no great evil conspiracy … it’s actually just sad.

Michele actually has some internal integrity - even if she is just an angry communist woman - she’s aligned with herself. Barack - never lost his integrity because he never had any. He’s a no-where man. Never found himself.

All of this self aggrandizement and they F***’d so many Americans along the way. Idiots who, while getting f*****d ... loved them even more.

Anyway - this speech is all about them saying good bye.

Now they move to Hawaii and the Wookie gets to run for Senate when Senator Dan is 114 years old. That is why he is weeping.

I tried to watch it. Hell, she doesn’t have a more firm grip on the truth than her husband does. Lies just ooze out of these people.

He lies, and she says, “He has always told you just like it is.”

I think they’re both going for an Emmy for best actor.

My brother emails that he still thinks they are depressed, but not conceding. He also thinks Obama is a good guy who just was incompetent about Benghazi and feels bad about it. As I commented to a friend ... “I refrained from telling him that even though he’s Republican, he’s still half-a-useful-idiot.”

Joe!

It’s not depression.

That was NOT a rally, or a lame rally. That was COMMUNICATED “good bye.” What I’m saying is, Michelle and Barack were saying to the (very small) crowd “good bye, it’s in your hands now”. Not ‘the vote is in your hands’ but ‘hope and change is in your hands.’

You have to put two and two together here. Anyone who knows anything knows that hard statistics guarantee this is over - and badly - that includes their internal pollsters. Remember - media polls are not internal polls. Both Romney and Obama have the same numbers. What you read in the media about them not having the same numbers is not true.

They accepted this long ago. When? Well the first explicit indication was something like 4 months ago: Obama said “you can’t change Washington from within.” The convention speech was when I first suspected it. The first debate was just more proof.

The 35 MIL mansion in Hawaii IS prepared for them to move in January. I’m not kidding here ! :-). I’m not giving opinion. That was a goodbye speech - he was doing everything BUT explicitly passing the torch (and blame, of course) to the crowd.

Just keep watching with that template in mind - it will all fit into place.

I don’t know if I agree. At one point, she talks about how she wanted a President who was smart and didn’t govern by partisan politics.

That’s not a concession speech; she’s endorsing Mitt Romney!

I wonder if their trashing the White House tonight? Why wait for the last minute. Steal the silver, slash the paintings and rugs. I wonder if the Clintons will show up to help out.

Can’t watch them. Only time I could stomach watching these two children of Satan is either his concession speech or his trial for treason.

“Strange memories on this nervous night in 2012. Has it been four years? Eight? It seems like a lifetime, the kind of peak that never comes again.

“Barry’s election was a very special time and place to be a part of. I was proud of my country for the first time.

“But no explanation, no mix of words or Springsteen music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that we were there and alive in that corner of time in the world when he won. There was hope and change in any direction, at any hour. We could strike sparks anywhere. There was a fantastic universal sense that whatever we were doing was right, that we were winning.

“And that, I think, was the handle - that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of old and evil. Not in any mean or totalitarian sense; we didn’t need that. Our energy would simply prevail. We had all the momentum; we were riding the transformational crest of a high and beautiful wave.

“But now, less than four years later, we can go up on a stage in a swing state somewhere and look back, and with the right kind of eyes we can almost see the high-water mark - that sad, sad place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.”

Amen. Pack your bags Moochelle.

I just listened to this entire rally from Michelle to the bitter end and here were my thoughts:

1. Definitely a concession speech for her. In fact I thought she almost wept herself a couple of times. She’s spent her entire life being angry at us, and maybe for a fleeting moment she appreciates the amazing honor this country bestowed on her despite it. Michelle gave it away — she knows it is over and even she can’t fake it. After tomorrow there will be a President-Elect Romney and her majesty’s reign is effectively over. No state dinners, no state addresses, just enjoying the perks for a couple of months.

2. His stump speech doesn’t even pretend to care about the facts anymore -— he just barrels along with whatever he thinks sounds good. Laughable now that Obama is actually saying he reduced the deficit. And in this speech he threw “al qaeda’s on the run” back in.

3. Even his little story toward the end about North Carolina was full of BS — see-sawing between contempt for small townsfolk and outright fabrications. And does anyone believe that the chanting lady wouldn’t have flown up to Des Moine for another 15 minutes in the sun?

Even at the very end they were classless, phony and clearly do not know what makes this country great. Sad for America to have endured 4 years of it and God Bless us all tomorrow!!
