If Canadians were electing the next U.S. president Tuesday, these polling results would have Mitt Romney holding his head in his hands. In almost every measure of polling demographic, including having the winner live next door, Barack Obama is a clear favourite. The data comes from a Forum Research Inc. poll conducted for the National Post of 1,735 randomly selected residents of Canada aged 18 or older.

That witch Wendy Mesley was on The National last night cackling about how O was a lead pipe cinch and what a liar
Romney was concerning Chrysler.
The same Canada that went all out in the oilsands and rejected the long gun registry as an abject failure?
Oh yeah, my limited experience up there was in Ontario, Manitoba. Went to the world’s fair in BC, once.
Canada would be better off heeding Mark Steyn than Barack Hussein Soetoro-obama.
They can have him!
Mark
Another BS poll. They need to call people outside of the 416 area-code.
Yea I saw the economic outlook for those Canucks. Don’t look good and they like 0!
Some people love punishment!
Too many idiots brainwashed by the pro Obama CBC (Canadian broadcasting corp). Watch CBC news and you’ll see Huffingtonpost on tv.
Stupid hosers
Like I care what they think about our elections! Ha.
If it's anything like the US, that means HALF or more of the population.
Well there is O’s next job. Leader of Canada. I mean Barack was born there-Went to school there- And even has a birth certificate showing he was born there.
Well not Yet. But it can be arranged.
I believe the New Democratic Party and the Liberal Party would be for the President. The Conservatives who verified their confidence in Stephen Harper, giving him a majority, would be in doubt surely.
We just have the Sun Media television network on channel 177, Shaw Cable. Only by keeping that station on, can I fight off doom and gloom.
I do know that the charge or smear of racism is a awful threat in Canada, albeit a kindly and tolerant country. This is one area that exists and it is vile. I ask myself, are the respondents to the pollster, nervous of being thought a "racist"?
A prominent black politician once was seven points ahead in the polls when he ran for governor of California. Years before Arnold was elected. He was already a mayor of a large city. He lost narrowly when the final count was tallied. It was thought persons did not want to appear racist to the pollster.
My prayers for the Republic.
- a Liberal paper is a Liberal paper.
"National Post of 1,735 randomly selected residents of Canada aged 18 or older." from where? Ontario, BC , Quebec?
Obama, would not make it in Alberta. The Conservative Provincial government, which is headed by a Liberal, barely made it in the last election.
Ignore stupid polls, in the USA or elsewhere, they are intended only to suppress voter turnout.
Three times amen!
Canada Ping!
Because they want company in the cesspool
Amen! Mark is the man!
LLS
Canadians felt the same way about the draft dodging, low life piece of pond scum slick willie. In contrast they hated Bush. Go figure.
Pack the boy king up and ship him north.
I am a National Post reader. Probably you know the answer, but yours is a good question.
Conrad Black started the Post about 16 or so years ago. It was to provide an alternative to the likes of the Toronto Star. Strongly liberal, the Star caters to minorities, women, the poor etc.
Black ran into trouble himself financially (as we all know). One Israel Asper took the newspaper over. "Issy" Asper was a devout liberal. Pious statements were made about non interference with the editorial content etc. Staff left quickly including Ms Blatchford a real journalist.
A bit of a long haul by me and is only my opinion. Some very solid conservative contributions still within the paper..... but a sort of mix that seems to court weak conservatives who are torn by "social conscience". Mark Steyn was an early casualty. Paper sells for two dollars at the local corner store. $3:50 is the weekend edition I go down to the public library to read that copy.
“Another BS poll. They need to call people outside of the 416 area-code.”
Exactly what I was thinking. And some people wonder why hating Toronto is the national pastime.
