President Obamas big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics Scott Conroy, there were empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldnt fill it out.
As it turns out, the empty seats didnt look exactly scattered. They looked like substantial portions of the upper bowl of the arena, according to photos tweeted by those in attendance:
And thus the Obama campaign comes full circle: from tepid open to lukewarm close in Ohio.

I see enough room for a thousand Chris Christies up there!
No! The arena was half-full!
Reminds me of my favorite Engineer Joke! to the Optimist it is half-full, to the Pessimist half-empty.....and to the Engineer, twice as big as it needs to be......
The only thing more empty than those arenas were the skulls of the few Obamabots in them!
That flag is owed some long-overdue respect.
Like it or not, the Illegal is POTUS and wasn’t in 2008. Lots of people will go to a rally just to see a POTUS. That being true, it’s astounding that the Illegal is profoundly failing to ge the crowds he got in 2008. GO MITTENS, GO!!!
There does appear to be a little ‘irony’ here (other than the Clint Eastwood ‘empty chair’ multiplied by many) the fact that you would know that if one such as Springsteen was a ‘supporter’ of yours he would probably be happy to ‘headline’ for you the day after the election, the point that comes up though is that BO ‘needs’ the help.
Kind of like
It is a great thing to be able to truthfully say I am healthy enough to work at 73.
The turn off is if you HAVE to work at 73.....
Empty arena, empty chair.. empty suit? SURPRISED?
Meanwhile, in New Hampshire, Romney will be at a rally tonight and from the tweets Im receiving the line for that event is unreal, something that has never been seen before..just keeps going and going and going
That's three times built in for the margin of safety.
Based on pictures I’ve seen, my guess is considerably less than half full.
</i> Hope that’s not necessary ever again.
Only way this fraud ever stood in front of a full audience was as an appendage for a concert like The Dave Mathews Band.
The best revenge is an empty seat.
Well, at least we know that Bronco Bama was full.......of himself.

n.
1. The act of repudiating or the state of being repudiated.
2. The refusal, especially by public authorities, to acknowledge a contract or debt.
It has legal and business definitions as well but in sum it will mean, IMHO, the American public saying, “We made a huge mistake four years ago.”
So about this time tomorrow night after the massive public repudiation of The One Formerly Known As The Won, his lawyers’ job will be to convince him to golf, travel, play hoops and stay-the-hell-out-of-the-way, until the grown-ups take over.
There it is.
