You know, in thinking about it, the FCC should have very specific guidelines regarding the editorialization / manipulation of information by supposed broadcast ‘news’ organizations. They force labeling of ‘infomercials’, and if CBS and others are going to withhold information in order to paint a specific narrative that helps the candidate they clearly support, they should have to display the same kind of disclaimer. In fact, I would make it mandatory that anytime a news organization does a political story the breakdown of political contributions of their organization and staff to each party should be displayed.
