Recieved this email from the O campaign. Read it. Then use your brain. This is nothing but an attempt to show you where other people with your name have and have not voted so you can vote multiple times at separate polling places if they haven't voted yet.. Especially if there is no voter id. This needs to go viral asap!!! Here is the email:
"Friend --
This is cool:
You can see exactly how many people named the same as you have already voted.
Take a look at that. Then share it with your friends so they can see how many people with their names have voted, too -- and look up their polling place.
Bottom line: We need every person with your name -- and everyone else, too -- to make it out to the polls to support President Obama.
So help get the word out -- and the vote:
http://my.barackobama.com/Your-Name
Thanks,
Yohannes"
I saw that email on another site. That had the polling place on it too. So Obama is committing voter fraud.
“What the he’ll is going on?”
Hey newby I would suggest you shut your mouth!
You [singular] can see exactly how many people named the same as you [singular] have already voted.
Take a look at that. Then share it with your [singular] friends so they [plural] can see how many people with their [plural] names have voted, too -- and look up their [plural] polling place.
It's a Facebook ap. When you sign up for it, you consent to give it your info on there (name, location, friends list, etc). From there, the ap will let you put in your street address, and it will look up and tell you your own polling place so you can go vote too.
I got that same email tonight.
Is the Obama email image posted anywhere?
If so, please send the link to Drudge, Greta, etc.
If anyone has blogged about this, then that is probably good enough for Drudge to have something to link to.
Look in the mirror, moron.
Definitely hit up Rush with this!
In the video, Obama can be heard making several more pledges to the American people, including:
My administration will not rest until every American can find a job.
We will not rest until we are succeeding in generating the jobs that this economy needs.
I will not rest until businesses are investing again and businesses are hiring again.
Im not gonna rest in our efforts to help people who are looking to find a job.
We will not rest until we build an economy thats ready for Americas future.
“regardless of what site Im on I have to preface with a use your brain comment sometimes.”
Trying to convince me that nothing unusual is going on now or with the 2008 election and that I should look no further than the state-run media (to not use my brain) for my information would be insulting.
Bttt
It’s so odd that there are so many people in here defending this saying it’s just a fb app. Now ‘axe’ yourself. (As holder’s people would say) why would they show you everybody that has the same name as you and their polling place and whether or not they have voted yet.. Think about that
I don’t believe for a second that the race is “thisclose”. Whenever I hear that the race is too close to call, I think “organized voter and election fraud”...again.
“it shows why there cant be any early voting”
John Kasich was explaining why there isn’t early voting in PA, and it’s a model all states might think about adopting. They do have absentee ballots for those who’ll be gone.
When I was doing elections in a NW city, we had a large force of volunteers who’d take ballots to shut-ins on election day. That was back in the days when cheating wasn’t rampant, or even an issue (as far as we knew). Now, volunteers in people’s homes could be a problem, especially if they’re militant ACORN types. There are no good answers.
Maybe have one 24-hour period two days before election day where people cana vote. That’ll cover people who’ll have problems getting to the polls during regular hours for any reason — traveling, 12-hour work shifts, etc.
Excuse me?
First off, that quote is nothing that I said in this thread.
Secondly, if you want me to shut my mouth, why don’t you make me?
And lastly, whatever some FReeper’s fetish is with calling others newbies is the exact reason why you -oldies- get to pay the cost for running this atrocious website, and I mean every last dime of it.
Cheers.
...get to pay the cost for running this atrocious website, and I mean every last dime of it.”
“...if you want me to shut my mouth, why dont you make me?”
I thought there was a rule on FR that no one under 12 can post unless they first pass the idiot test.
The test: How many finger am I holding up?
Hint: The answer is in the question.
Bet you still won’t get it.
It's disturbing watching the political Pollyanna's and assorted frauds up in arms over voter fraud. The past 30 years, government bosses and those from both beltway parties aided and abetted waves of tens of millions entering illegally. Illegals have created an epic industry of fraud, altering the history and economy of America, taking jobs, driving, voting, collecting welfare, benefits, driving down wages, choking off social services, hospitals, our health care etc.
They have literally compromised and undermined our electoral process.
Yet just before an election, suddenly there is concern about voter fraud.
Well, when someone calls me a newb the conversation is over so explain it to me if you want or don’t if you don’t, it really doesn’t matter to me at all, you wonderful FReeper you.
