On April 14, 2008, Riad Elsolh Hamad, 55, left his familys apartment in Austin, Texas, to get some prescription drugs. The immigrant from Lebanon and middle school computer teacher never returned home. Three days later, the police found his body, bound with tape, floating in nearby Lady Bird Lake, and concluded that all signs indicate this may have been a suicide.

Hamad proceeded to file another three amended complaints and in them he tacked on yet more defendants (Freerepublic LLC, Jim Robinson, Laurence Simon, and Dotster Inc.)

But on a lighter note, he, at least, would have had a place to live in Texas, had he not died.
If the story is accurate, this Pali psycho did everyone a favor by jumping in the river. He would have done us all a bigger favor if he’d done it a lot sooner. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
They are not civilized, and never will be!
Quite interesting. I appreciate the posting, as it has been several years since his death, and I had forgotten all about it. I do remember seeing reports of the death on the Austin news, but no follow-up. I guess now we see why they did not follow up with any more information, as that would ruin the carefully crafted image the media had created of this “peace activist”.
