Interesting. I saw your post and asked my wife who just came back from her local Catholic church if the priest said anything in reference to the election and she told me he did in reference to abortion and the economy. I wonder if this is being repeated in many other churches.
I have heard “vote for life and religious freedom” at Mass several times in the past few weeks.
Our pastor (Catholic priest) never says a word about elections. He just lets our pro-life group hand out pro-life voters’ guides after all the Masses before election day. Our new, young assistant pastor however gets down in the trenches and has mentioned this election at every Sunday sermon he’s given for the last month.
