To: Alas Babylon!

So, once again we are treated to David Axelrod on Fox News.

The fact that the President of the United States has refused for four years to appear on the number one news channel is telling. What does this say about Barack Obama?

Axelrod’s willingness to appear seems to say that it is not the fear of espousing the liberal viewpoint on a conservative-leaning station that bothers them, but that Axelrod believes that Obama is not up to the task.

Fox is number one by far in attracting viewers. Fox has more viewers than the rest combined. It would stand to reason then, that if you want to get your message out more efficiently, then maybe you’d accept, at some point, the four-year long standing invitation that Fox News has extended to our president.

But they won’t.

They know he’d blow it. They know Obama cannot talk to regular Americans, private sector Americans, in a manner that in the end won’t become a problem for them.

This is so instructive, so revealing of the weakness of this president, and puts the lie to his promise to “bring Americans together”, or that his style is one of “reaching across the aisle”.

I am just shocked when I happen to see Obama appearances on this weekend before the election and he still has his teleprompters. If he hasn’t ‘internalized’ his message after all his campaigning then I worry about his mental capacity — and the mental capacity of every ‘reporter’ who travel with him, are forced to be present at every rally, and refuse to let the American public know that the O still needs to read his message.

PS: I have serious worries about the mental status of the vpotus. He is showing signs of dementia. They are not just funny gaffes.
