Scott Brown is Totally going to win the Senate Race
Hill Buzz ^ | 11/3/2012 | Kevin DuJan

Now, let’s look at the facts here. Five former and one current Mayor assembled for a rally for Elizabeth Warren in Worcester, Massachusetts. Since no one else showed up to attend the rally, there were more Mayors there than regular people. Almost everyone in attendance was a Mayor.

When I used to do event planning for a living I used to have nightmares about things like this: planning an event for months, working hard to bring everything under budget, inviting scores of people…and no one would show up. That never happened to me, THANK GOODNESS…but I would seriously wake up in cold sweats from dreams about it.

I really like this guy. Always have. He is what he is and he represents the people of Massachusetts, who want their Senator to vote for things that I don’t agree with all the time…but he is light years better in the Senate than Ted Kennedy. He is light years better than Martha Coakley would have been…and he’s better than Elizabeth Warren would be.

I think Scott Brown is the best Senator that Massachusetts could hope for…and my contacts in the state tell me that he’s going to win and Elizabeth Warren is hated.

THIS rally above lends credence to that.

I will tell you that as an event planner anything I did outside in Chicago always attracted crowds of lookyloos. There is always a crowd for anything…unless people want nothing to do with whoever the event is for.

People want NOTHING TO DO WITH Elizabeth Warren.

Scott Brown will win even though Obama will win Massachusetts. Minitru won’t admit it, because it’s claiming that Massachusetts voters are just going to vote for Obama AND Warren…but that’s not true. They’re going to split the vote and keep the cutie in office.

Some of Kevin's writing aside, I think he is on to something bigger here..

Dick Morris is calling the Senate with 53 for the Republican's with a Scott Brown and Maine Loss..

If we win in MA that brings us to 54.

I think Morris is off, with some wind in our sails and running the board, if we get MO, and IN and a PA Smith win and OH Mandel pickup I don't think 57 or 58 is out of the question....

If this is a wave election... and I think it will be. We should have no problem winning tougher seats like the MA seat.

I forget which pundit wrote Mandel’s campaign has been a disaster. I haven’t followed it so I don’t know what went wrong there. Any idea? I wonder if another Republican might have been able to beat Brown, considering how far to the left he is and out of the mainstream.

I really hope that you are right, but I am afraid that you discount the zombie vote. Zombie voters don’t go to rallies, not even ones which are not well planned and publicized.

Zombie voters just arise in vast numbers to plod to the polls and vote as they have been programmed.

As a former MA resident I sort of get this. The citizen's kinda of sleep walk through politics (although they would attend a Rallye for the Red Sox) as they are told to pull the D lever by their Union Boss. They are more concerned about their family etc.

I am struck by the mayors behind the podium, my gosh it was like the night of the living dead, no young blood other than the young turk speaking.

It kind of screams as to the lack of vibrancy of the MA, CT and NY economies, any young-in with half a brain has left already....

Taildragger...I see you're from Michigan.Well,I'm from Massachusetts,a *lifelong* resident (and it's been a *long* life).I just have one bit of advice for ya....never,*ever* underestimate the depravity of this state's electorate or of this state's Rat Party machine.Osama Obama will carry this state with at *least* 60% of the vote. And Liawatha will get 95% of those votes.Trust me...I don't know much but I *do* know Massachusetts politics.

All we need is 50 Repub senators. Not perfect but we would be in business.

I had to read the article to make sure it wasn’t you saying that you ‘really liked this guy’(Brown).

GSC... I grew up their and left after a "number" of decades their. I hear you. I swear their is something in the water, it is obviously not effected your system :-)

However, a friend here in MI has a cousin, a big tea party lad in Boston, and had emailed my friend with his recent take on things... His gut feel? He senses something is up, no Obama signs and people are strangley quiet. Let us hope is gut feel is correct

I think Scott Brown is the best Senator that Massachusetts could hope for…

I must disagree. As MA resident, I can hope for a lot more Conservative senator. But Brown is the best that can be mustered with even a snowball's chance of winning in MA.

I think your statement would be more accurate as:
"I think Scott Brown is the best Senator that Massachusetts Conservatives can get past the Liberals..."
