Linux has caught on like mad... it’s the ultimate do it yourself platform. People who want their hands held (most) or who absolutely must have some special commercial package (a few) can still use Winders.

I'm thinking it's time to jump ship alright. Especially with what I'm thinking of getting into. Used to build business apps with large data backends and ported many to the web. Have a mechanical background that would go well with my coding abilities. No hurries though... Waiting to see what happens Tuesday!
