If this is REMOTELY true then Obama is toast.
Sam, thanks for posting that. I hear lots of folks talking about the 1980 election. Lots of folks doubting this close race. I played golf with a guy that was a Hillary supporter in 2008. He is voting Romney, hates Obama. He is a white defector. Dems hav e become too liberal and extreme and have a crappy record and economy to defend. And we got a very motivated GOP base.
Listening now to Romney In Colorado. He sounds like he knows he is winning.
I was thinking that myself.....pray to God that our nightmare could be finally coming to an end.
Boy, oh boy! I’m getting the feeling that if I put my ear to the ground, I could hear the sound of thunder coming from the giant stampede for Romney!
If it’s this close here in Minnesota, it’s over for the Bamster. Please dear Lord, make it so!
lol!!
I have been struggling to remember just how the media covered 1980.
Thanks for the Newsweek image.
And just think, there was no FreeRepublic, Mark Levin, Fox News, etc. back in 1980.
I believe we are going to have a big win!
Florida is Romney country.
I have been working the phones here in central Florida for weeks...he is doing very well here.
ALSO- I drive through poor, middle class and WEALTHY neighborhoods on my way to work every day. Romney signs in ALL neighborhoods. I have seen exactly ONE Obama sign...4 years ago they were EVERYWHERE.
Its almost if these blueuish states are saying to Ohio, smarten up or we’ll push Romney over the edge to save the country.
A shame tho that the YT poster didn't capture the clip til after MR had started speaking, apparently missing Ann's portion altogether :-\
What would be really awesome is if this were a D+12 sample size...
Romney will win florida, north carolina, virginia, colorado, and iowa. I also think he will win Ohio. PA and Wisconsin will be harder, but he has an excellent shot. If Obama loses Ohio or PA he’s done. If he loses Wisconsin or Nevada, he’s in big trouble.
Hope it’s a happy one for you, and for all of us!
One difference I recall about that race, though, is that Carter was NOT very popular within his own party...the Washington insiders didn’t like him. Obamugabe is much more popular among his DC sycophants, I think.
I live in MN and this is encouraging...would love to see MN go Red! Are you all watching the Romney Rally in CO right now? It’s on C-Span and Mitt just introduced his scout master - he’s talking about his life heroes and the crowd is going wild...
You can say that again!!..
an incumbant @45% is not good place to be.
OK! ... LOLOL
I live in MN, and on my way home from Mass tonight I saw a lot of home made Romney/Ryan signs up on people’s lawns, which weren’t up in the last few weeks.
Eager to see how many MN will show up to see Ryan tomorrow.
Sure she can... her husband's old outfit.
I've been wondering why some of the polling samples are D+9 and so overloaded to the Democrat side. Is it nefarious, or do they assume everyone who has turned 18 since 2008 will vote D? Even if those kids claim to be D, how many can be bothered to vote? An employer I know in a nearby city had to DRAG his 18-23 yr old staff to actually cast a vote a couple of years ago in an election for a ballot measure he and the young people were clearly for. But they wouldn't have bothered to vote if he hadn't piled them in his SUV and driven them to the ballot box. And it was to legalize beer and wine sales at that!
I am addicted to the events now. Mitt Romney really loves America.
I’m beginning to wonder if Obama and Company are actually competent enough to even pull it off if they tried to cheat.
