Parts of ( red state) W. VA are still cut off by 2 1/2 feet of snow dropped by Sandy. Hey, MSM, the storm was 800 mi. wide, and affected something other than the beloved roller coaster of your sepia tinted childhood memories of the Jersey Shore. Send your foreign correspondents who are back for storm coverage to flyover country.

Snow isn’t exactly an uncommon occurrence in West Virginia. A 14-foot storm surge on the other hand, isn’t something that happens in the tri-state area every few years.
