IF Rom is elected, which I surely hope and pray for, I know there will be many many things that disappoint us, anger us....
but we have to choose.....
the alternative to Romney is so anti-God, so anti-Catholic, anti-Christian that we don't have a chance...
Cherry, well said!!
Thank you for your advice. I agree with much of what you say, but I just think it may be wrong for pro-lifers to give 100% to a man who gives so little to them.
If we were tough on Romney, Romney might not move so far left.
Anyway, I am going to try to calm down a bit more and then probably will return to the campaign office here.
I have decided to go volunteer in IN for Richard Mourdock. Maybe this is the wrong decision, but Romney’s campaign office here in Kenwood (Cincinnati) would not even let me look up Mourdock’s campaign website when I was deciding where to go.
I drove 300 miles to be here, volunteered all of yesterday, and they said no because they wanted me in Ohio. There was no thank you for making phone calls and knocking on doors yesterday. They could not do me the smallest favor. I paid my own hotel and gas and everything except one bottled water.
Finally got ahold of the internet back in my hotel room and the Indiana Republican party was willing to get me a free hotel room. I said no but they are much more decent than the Romneybots.
Maybe I am making a mistake, but I do not need to volunteer at all. The vast majority of Freepers do not volunteer for Romney and that does not make them bad. We need to make Harry Reid minority leader in the Senate too, and that is what I will work for now. See you tomorrow, I am leaving now for Indiana.
