I’m in the IBEW-just last week received the monthly newsletter with an Obama sticker affixed to the cover. Getting out of the union is almost out of the question; hopefully reform can be done from the inside.

One of supervisors for the welding company I was doing x rays for came over and asked me where my harness was for his JSA while I was unloading my stuff. I looked up and saw the Obama-Biden sticker on his hard hat and just shook my head and pointed to the harness hanging up in the truck. After I finished unloading and his welders took a break, he said to me, rather sheepishly, that he was “encouraged” to put it on. I believed him, he seemed embarrassed and even helped us rope off..

If every union member exercised their becks right it would be over pretty quickly. unionrefund.org. I live in a union slavery state... I was preparing to relocate when they threatened to take over. They did get a foot in the door, with part of our staff. So getting this information out is key. Perhaps the coupon craze would be a good format. Send the information for the union refund in a coupon format. LOL. I had never heard of this union court finding before, but I am still new to the union slavery territories.

For many who are in a union, your contract says that you don’t have to join, but the dues are mandated. You don’t have a choice.

"Hope springs eternal...." Nice sentiment, but it seems unlikely.

my husband was union for at least 17 yrs with the Steelworkers...and I've been in a union for over 30.....

my union claims to keep its political arm separate...but if they are using my "union" name as an endorsement for their rat activities then its not separate....

and you know they always go rat...
