.....The strike that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans is either proof of President Barack Obama's leadership failures or a tragic event that occurred despite the administration's best efforts to protect the compound and respond in the aftermath of the attack, according to highly charged arguments on both sides.....

Right........
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction," BHO page 261
Apparently his best is "Death to America"!
If that was the Admins best effort then it was a massive failure, what’s the left’s argument again?
AFP: “................The focus on the CIA reflects fresh questions about the spy service’s response as well as a turf war inside the government bureaucracy, as officials seek to shield their departments from criticism.
Intelligence officials took the unusual step of giving reporters a timeline of events, which they said showed the CIA acted swiftly and decisively.
“The officers on the ground in Benghazi responded to the situation on the night of 11 and 12 September as quickly and as effectively as possible,” a senior intelligence official told AFP on condition of anonymity........”
Nothing partisan about it.
It is the duty of the American Government to protect its citizens. They failed. The current head of that Government is Barack Obama. That means he failed. PERIOD.
I don’t give a rats ass who the President is. If they fail in this one most important area then they are not fit to be the President......
Remember this quote before you vote!
They never would have trotted out this video nonsense if it was even close to a best effort.
I wonder how many Obama Administration lawyers helped draw up this AP article Q and A about Benghazi?
Be sure to read it in full.
Another mainstream suck-ass piece for obama. This will be in every Sunday newspaper.
If this is the best they can come up with after 2 months they are in serious trouble.
“respond in the aftermath of the attack”
What good would responding in the aftermath of an attack that lasted seven hours possibly do?
We must never forget that it was the RNC who gave us Obama.
Pure, unadulterated, over-lawyered horse crap.
This is the Administration’s last stab at defusing the Benghazi crisis. I don’t see it having much of an impact.
It was the MSM, state media, obama media, alphabet media and the Oprah-Diana-fied, union educated populous that gave us Obama.
This bears repeating. It should be shouted from the rooftops, read to little children, the subject of breakfast coffee shops and doctoral theses.
The MSM must die, that the Republic may live.
I would love to hear Gen. Schwarzkoffs thoughts on this matter.
Here is the partisan debate:
DIMS WANT TO SIDE WITH OUR ENEMIES AND DEFEAT AMERICA
REPUBLICANS WANT TO ENGAGE THE ENEMY... THE DOMESTIC AND THE FOREIGN VARIETIES
LLS
populous = populace
:)
Thank you to the observant FReeper!
That IS the choice before Americans on Tuesday.
Their stated positions Friday:
Obama: “Vote for revenge!”
Romney: “Vote for love of country!”

Statement by Secretary Clinton on the Attack in Benghazi
Press Statement
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Secretary of State
Washington, DC
September 11, 2012
I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today. As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed. We are heartbroken by this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack.
This evening, I called Libyan President Magariaf to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya. President Magariaf expressed his condemnation and condolences and pledged his governments full cooperation.
Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear: There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.
In light of the events of today, the United States government is working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions, and American citizens worldwide.
