Just like his absolutely stupid “Don’t call my bluff” remark. He doesn’t understand the English language, its vocabulary, its grammar, or its idioms.
And I guess it's understandable since English and the associated culture is not the one he identifies most closely with. Let's just work to put an end to the situation which causes us to be subjected to his frequent misuse of common English expressions.
