Politicians actually cause shortages by outlawing free-market pricing during a crisis. As is so often the case, such legislation hurts the very people the politicians claimed to be helping.

Anyone who condemns "gouging" generally fails to understand that free-market pricing works to efficiently and effectively ration scarce resources and increase the available supplies.

No one can argue that this nation's eventual downfall will be largely attributable to widespread, willful IGNORANCE of basic economics and civics as well as the triumph of emotion over reason.

Read somewhere yesterday that NJ law probiits “gouging” within 30 days of an event (before or after) and “gouging” is considered more than a 10% price increase.

what a bunch of tards.
