It’s simple. They share a common hatred: Christians.
This is a really good article. It puts into words what I’ve been thinking for years. Much of the Left is inexplicable to me but this helps me explain it in words.
The Left is approaching the quintessential concept of pure evil. Before you all pooh-pooh me, think about it—yes, there are those who lean left that are ostensibly good people, but they tend to be those ruled by emotion...they fall prey to the “sob story” and live generally fear-filled lives. The true “Left” are the puppeteers of these poor folks and use adversity as a measuring stick of “worth” (which may explain why they describe sufferers as “heros”).
Those of us on the “Right” on the other hand, tend to not live our lives in fear, but rather in trust. Hence, we do believe in a “Higher Power” and do not fall for the “sob story” or at least view such as an exception as opposed to a rule. This explains why the Democrats legislate based on the exception (the “sob story”—”there should be a law”)—micro-management. and the Republicans tend to be much more “macro”, thinking of government as ideally being an “enabler” as opposed to a “governor” and they ascribe the “micro” part of living to the individual which is also considered a place where government should not trod.
This election will determine whether we take the Left fork in the road or the Right fork in the road. This may be the final fork...no turning back if we take the Left.
