Too bad he didn’t request an absentee ballot. Goodbye BadJoe, whom I suspect wasn’t so bad after all.

RIP BadJoe.
Had the honor and pleasure of speaking by phone with Joe shortly after I joined FR. I remember he was originally from my neck of the woods, southwestern Pennsylvania.
To: Jubal Harshaw
RIP BadJoe. Prayers for friends and family.

Whenever I see these type threads I like to post a reminder to put his info up on the memorial wall
http://www.freerepublic.com/memorial/memorial.htm
You probably already know about it but some don’t and I like to see our fellow FReepers remembered in this way.
May he rest in peace.

BadJoe was never one to mince words. Some of the most lively, uhh....'discussions' in FR's early days found him right in the bullseye.
Godspeed BadJoe. Put in a good word for the rest of us.

So long, Joe.

Oh no! I remember visiting with him for a long time at the 2000 Bush Inaugural. He was manning the cloak room, and my feet had given out and he had a chair. We had a delightful visit, and I have missed his writing on FR, lo these many years. He will be missed.
