Yeah, I had fun Zoting Delhi that day. :-)
The point is that both Akin and Murdouck were not sufficiently prepared for the ONLY issue that would be used to sink them. Every possible Q and A regarding abortion should have been practiced down to tedium.
If you care about the pro-life cause, you do your homework.
It is simply INEXCUSABLE that both Akin and Murdouck jeopardized these otherwise safe senate seats.
So vote for McCaskill then. Or sit that race out. But at least be honest about it. Either course supports Obama and that is what’s really inexcuseable.
Sabato is wacked out. He's gonna be in total meltdown when the numbers start coming in election night. Not only will we win the tossup Senate seats, we will win some more of the (already in the bag for the dems) seats. This is gonna be HUGE!!
We are in a war against evil right now and we are in it to win. Keep the faith my FRiends.
Darn I missed that action. Wasn't he from Ireland??? My observations from KC inner city to well south is that nobody but a few have signs out for the liberals, Claire and Obama. Obama has not even showed up to help out his old friend Claire this election cycle. She is pretending that she is not a democrat let alone a liberal democrat. I do pray she gets to return to take care of all her section 8 housing acquisitions her dear hubby took advantage of from Obama's stimulus.
There's no Democrats at all running in Indiana. I've seen all the commercials and looked at the adverts. Not a one. I wonder if that side of the ballot will be blank next Tuesday? The Democrat "brand" is on par with dog sh!t this year.
First, I apologize for the multiple posts - kept receiving “timed out” statement.
I genuinely hope Akin and Murdock both win.
I’m just angry - as all conservatives should be — that both candidates were not ready for the most obvious traps that would be used to destroy them.
It is ridiculous - borderline contemptible - that both men were not ready for this trap.
I like it, also have nothing at all against Todd Akin, he really did nothing wrong.
Whatever it takes to win
Akin did plenty wrong. He made an indefensible statement, killed Romney momentum, and refused to easily correct his error by stepping aside.
There are plenty of conservative candidates to replace Akin, but his oversized ego and poor judgement has put control of the US Senate at risk.
Any substitute candidate could easily beat the democrat crook. And any substitute candidate would have united the party behind them.
But no, AKIN put himself as more important than any of that.
You’re still stuck on stupid, aren’t you????
“He has a degree in engineering which is no easy task. He also has a degree in divinity which Algore could not even do”
Well I have an Engineering Degree from one of the best schools in the country, and I am religious, but I would not have ever thought to say the things that got Akin into trouble. Don’t get me wrong, I hope he wins, but he should have been winning in a landslide with McCaskell being the RAT dunce that she is. The fact that he isn’t is his own damned fault, and it was needless and stupid. As they say, the road to ruin is paved with good intentions. Good intentions don’t get you elected, thoughtful campaign oratory does.
I must have been online too long. I saw your post and thought “Oh this would be something good to post on FreeRepublic” then went as far as searching the title which brought me back here. :)
dead heat?
Let’s not hope it stays that way. That’s all we need is to show the RINOs that an election cannot be won without them.
Yeah, and if you fire everyone from politics who ever said something stupid or wrong (paging Joe Biden), Washington DC would be a ghost town.
Maybe you’re on to something.
