Iran is not Arab, it is Persion; most Arabs are Sunni Muslim and most Persions are Shia Muslim; the Persian-Shia vs Arab-Sunni divide is very much involved in the “militant” proxy war that began with the fall of Saddam Hussein and continues inside Iraq; Arab Saudi interests want “red lines” concerning Iran as much as does Israel.
Me thinks mister Freeman is simply another Marxist and, like the worlds leading Marxists, making an alliance of convenience with Islamists and in that context Israel and U.S. are the cause of everyone else’s problems - so Islamists everywhere preach.
